Some ongoing research I'm working on for Sūrat YāSīn

As-Salām ʿalaykum,

I wanted to share some ongoing research I’m doing. This will go into a dedicated blog post eventually, but I wanted to share the work-in-progress with you guys.

So, a long while back someone sent me this ring structure for the entirety of Sūrah YāSīn:

At first glance, it looks legit. It comes from “The Gold Mine Initiative,¹” an anonymous blog that’s been inactive for what seems to be 4 years now. When I first saw this, I was blown away… but then I looked more deeply into it and found that he (God bless his soul, whoever he is) left out some āyāt and didn’t account fully for some of the others he connected.

Thankfully, they laid a lot of the ground work though and I was able to build off of their work. Below is a page of my notes (very messy, but it helped me find a structure I was happy with!).

With the notes above as a guide, I came up with the following ring structure for the entirety of Sūrat YāSīn:
