Great write up! Another similarity is the metaphorical use of وجد/wajada in 18:77 and 18:86. In 18:77, Musa and al-Khidr wajadaa (found) the wall [as if] wanting to collapse. Similarly, in Q18:86, Dhul Qarnayn wajada (found) the Sun [as if] setting in a spring.
