Sūrat al-Fātiḥah - New Research!
Just when I think I've read all there is to see on a sūrah's structure, Allah ﷻ reminds me that I know nothing
Adding another layer to the research already published on this blog, Dr. Nazir Khan of Yaqeen Institute has published a fresh take on the structure of Sūrat al-Fātiḥah as part of his new book, “The Straight Path: How Surah al-Fatiha addresses modern ideologies”.
Dr. Khan shows that Sūrat al-Fātiḥah can be demonstrated to be a ring structure. The following graphic is taken straight from the paper, and it explains its connections in bold.1
There’s one blemish on this paper though, that I must bring to light. They cite this one guy who shouldn’t be trusted.
Footnote 382 will never recover.2 May Allah ﷻ forgive them…
