﷽
So I’m reading this paper that has some Quran structures in it, but I cannot, for the life of me, understand the connections he’s making in the central ring structure for āyāt 19-28:
Specifically, what connections is he implying between āyah 22 and 26?
“The known timespan of verse 22 matches the set of the living and the dead in verse 26.”
huh?
And 23 and 25?
“And lastly the measuring out or restriction of creation (23) predicts the true purposes of the earth (25).”
Again, huh?
The description in the paper isn’t clear to me. I’m not that smart, so I’m sure someone can help me overcome my 5th grade reading level.
Thank you :)
Allah knows best, spent time trying to decipher, but I think what the author is saying is that the fate of Humanity is paralleled and tied to the Earth. I had to go through another Tafsir (green app called Surah) which helped me get to the following.
Water[sperm] 20(ماء مهين) that created human beings
is parallel to
water that humans need to drink to survive 27-second half(ماء فراتا).
The strong protection of the sperm 21(in uterus) for humans
is parallel to
the strong protection of the 27-first half(رواسي شامخات) for earth/mountains
22 إلى قدر معلوم
Continuation about the sperm being protected to a limited predetermined known time (gestation, pregnancy). Has to do to LIFE and DEATH of a human, {time/age/life/death all interconnected concepts}...
Parallel to
26. Earth being a container for LIVING and DEAD
23 فقدرنا فنعم القادرون
Allah's fate and determination of the human that is finally getting born
Parallel to
25. The Earth being determined to be the abode and the place where that human and all humans exists {this is also the transition to the focus on Earth after the humans were discussed in the previous Ayas, hence 24 being the center of the structure}
Sorry, I don’t see the connections either
